Cassandra Collins, vampire (from another world), takes a bride (actually, a husband), in a bizarre act of unnatural love (he's in love with Chris Jennings) ... but thanks to Count Petofi, lodged comfortably in the body of Angelique's brother, Aristede, the marks have vanished from Joe's neck, leaving him free to pursue his actual love.
