Previously on Dark Shadows: The Comic Strip Series: Collinwood, 1969. Angelique, recently married to Quentin, has made a serious mistake: she stood by and did nothing, knowing that Nicholas Blair held sinister plans for Quentin's grandchildren, Chris and Tom. Now Chris is a werewolf and Tom is a vampire and Quentin is, to say the least, perturbed. After he leaves Angelique, she finds herself with no recourse (or so she thinks) than to use the legendary Hand of Count Petofi to cause a certain room in the East Wing to become a gateway to a parallel world, a world she enters hoping to live the life she feels she deserves. But Barnabas was swept along with her, and now they are both fugitives in a strange and disturbing world that is not their own ...
