Some DARK SHADOWS cosplay with my students today (nice and super distanced and with breath held; god bless the zoom lens!). Excellent horror makeup, props, and costume design. We watched some episode clips last night; the kids were LIVING for it.
One
of my amazing seniors made the iconic cane and ring; we found flappy
bat in the basement (and you'll note what appears to
be a boom mic shadow behind Gabe, but what is, in reality, the shadow of
the stick that holds flappy bat aloft); my fantastic husband did the
lights; and we still have the jewel tones from Narnia, last year's
spring production around this time. I am SO lucky to have these kids to
work with. They are definitely problem solving so that we can still
(safely) make theatre together!
