Previously on Dark Shadows: The Comic Strip Series:  Barnabas, Quentin, and Angelique left 1969 via I Ching to save the Collins family of the 20th century from the wicked Count Petofi. While in 1897 they were split: Barnabas was zapped via Phoenix-express to 1840, where he was soon joined by Julia Hoffman. They discovered a Collinwood on the brink of new danger: the Quentin of 1840, recently deceased, has left behind his wife Samantha and his son Tad in a great house ruled by Quentin's mother, Flora Collins.
