As you'll recall, MPI started releasing Dark Shadows on video back in 1989 with The Resurrection of Barnabas Collins, and released volumes thereafter every month until the entire series was available, some 200 plus volumes. I got rid of my video tapes, but I kept the sleeves -- they were rad, man.
I'll be sharing a few over the next coupla weeks as I find 'em. Enjoy.
And ... my favorite ... episode and tape cover.
Dark Shadows (1966-1971) was a soap opera with an emphasis on the supernatural that has garnered a cult following in the years since it left the air. The introduction of Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) catapulted the series to enormous success, capturing the public's imagination in a way that continues to endure today. This online fanzine will provide a place for rare photos, articles, stories, artwork, and other multimedia as a tribute to the magic and mystery that is Dark Shadows.

You'll laugh - but I have ALL the Dark Shadows vhs videos still, and have watched them over and over through the years! I still get that feeling of absolute magic when I watch any of the episodes, it's like revisiting some far away land...…...
