Previously on Dark Shadows: The Comic Strip Series: Dr. Julia Hoffman and Barnabas Collins have returned from their strange and terrifying journey to the year 1840, but there have been casualties: Angelique, in her quest to release Barnabas from the curse of the Phoenix, was shot and summarily burned to ashes by a mad Lamar Trask.
