1968: Tom Jennings

The World of Dark Shadows #3

Dark Shadows Comic Strip Season 12: Confronting Angelique!

Previously on Dark Shadows: The Comic Strip Series: Angelique is dead. She destroyed her relationship with Quentin, ran off to Parallel Time to fix it, and was killed there, her body crumbled to dust, her spirit ... somewhere else. Barnabas returned without her, realized he was in love with Julia Hoffman, and proposed. But Quentin refused to give up on summoning his lost love back from whatever world she might now inhabit. Unfortunately, the Angelique who exists now in 1969 was plucked from her own timestream, fresh from cursing Barnabas Collins as a vampire. With no knowledge of future events, this Angelique, rabid with jealousy, has set in motion a Dream Curse that is already gathering momentum. But the frustrated denizens of Collinwood have called upon Professor T. E. Stokes, who may have the answer to defeating the wicked witch once and for all ....

Barnabas Collins, Vampire

My favorite Barnabas pinup; my friend Patty's mom had her scrapbooks from the 60s and let me peruse them at my leisure when I was a kid in the 80s, and I vividly remember this pasted onto one of the pages. Also, it's the cover of the first Marilyn Ross novel I read, and I loved it.

Dark Shadows Comic Strip Season 12: The Dream Curse Continues!

Previously on Season 12 of Dark Shadows: The Comic Strip Series: Victoria Winters is unsure of where she belongs ... in the year 1969 or back in 1795? After a seance saw her spending a few days gallivanting about the Collinwood of the 18th century, she returned ... and brought with her the vengeful Angelique of that time, who possessed no knowledge of the future. Now, bitter and jealous by Barnabas' engagement to Dr. Julia Hoffman, Angelique has cast a Dream Curse, which is spreading among the residents of Collinwood and their friends like a plague ...
