Lara Parker Biting Johnny Carson
We've all heard the story of how Lara Parker "killed" Johnny Carson (well, you have if you read her chapter "Out of Angelique's Shadow" in the 1990 Dark Shadows Companion) by going on the Late Show and biting him on the neck. Has anyone out there ever seen it? I hadn't ... but I also forgot that I had this. While digging through an old box of photos today I found evidence that I'd purchased at a DS fest a billion years ago, taken with an old Kodak straight from the idiot box itself: a befanged Lara about to sink her sharp pearlies into the willing throat of Johnny Carson himself. Pretty cool, huh?

It was the “Tonight Show”, not the “Late Show”. First appearance of Lara on Carson was around autumn 1968. I watched it then. I missed the next appearance when Flip Wilson was guest hosting. I adored Lara Parker. Little boy crush I guess.
