Dark Shadows (1966-1971) was a soap opera with an emphasis on the supernatural that has garnered a cult following in the years since it left the air. The introduction of Barnabas Collins (Jonathan Frid) catapulted the series to enormous success, capturing the public's imagination in a way that continues to endure today. This online fanzine will provide a place for rare photos, articles, stories, artwork, and other multimedia as a tribute to the magic and mystery that is Dark Shadows.

The Vampire Takes Over!
HAUNT ME, THEN ... my take on WUTHERING HEIGHTS!
Big announcement that will appeal to Dark Shadows fans as well as fans of ... me!
I sold Haunt Me, Then, my second novel, to Horrorsmith Publishing for release in 2026! I started writing it last December after I saw the 1939 Wuthering Heights with Laurence Olivier, which somehow I had never enjoyed before then. (Check out the freaky movie poster I chanced upon while scrolling aimlessly through Instagram one day that inspired me to find it!) Dark Shadows fans will recognize the 1841 Parallel Time storyline as a thinly (very thinly) disguised retread of the Emily Bronte. Haunt Me, Then is very much a Laramie Dean story: queer horror set on the plains of Eastern Montana. Stay tuned for more details as they come (you can also follow me on Instagram @bylaramiedean!).
Here's the Wuthering Heights poster ... super spooky!
