Victoria Winters believes she belongs in the past, back in 1795. After Professor Stokes helped send her there temporarily, via a seance, Vicki attracted the attention of Angelique, 18th century vintage, and that rapscallion, Nathan Forbes. Both hitched a ride back to 1969 on Vicki's tailwind. And while the current Angelique was lost and presumed incarcerated in the Parallel Time version of Hell, 1795 Angelique went wild, cursing everyone willy nilly, and finally using her Dream Curse to turn Julia Hoffman into a vampire.
Meanwhile, Nathan Forbes, not quite a ghost, not quite an actual dead person, managed to take possession of Chris Jennings; while in the werewolf state, he killed obsessive bisexual warlock Aristede Bouchard ... who just happens to be Angelique's beloved baby brother ...
