Happy Introduction of Barnabas Day!

Okay, so it was filmed on April 13, 1967, and it wasn't Jonathan Frid but the hand of Timothy Gordon that gripped poor John Karlen's throat, but today was technically the first time the character of Barnabas appeared on Dark Shadows in non-portrait form (check out The Collinsport Historical Society, where Wallace is looking in depth at the different media in which the character of Barnabas was introduced over the years).  We've spent a lot of time with Barnabas here at Shadows on the Wall over the past few weeks, but ... ah hell ... it's Barnabas Freakin' Collins ... so why not?

Here's to you, buddy.  May your bangs (outside of your Ben Cross incarnation) be ever pointy.
