Dark Shadows 1991 Episode 2: Daphne Isn't Dead (or IS She?!?)

EPISODE TWO

January 14, 1991:  Professor Woodard suspects that a vampire is lurking in Collinsport; Daphne and Barnabas get all pelvic, with the unfortunate side effect of turning Daphne into a vampire; Joe learns about Daphne's new definition of necking; Professor Woodard re-enacts the "staking Carolyn" scene from HODS; Julia fails her ethics test when she decides to cure Barnabas instead of turning him over to Sheriff Patterson.

"Promise me we'll always be together."

"This creature, if there is such a thing, might possibly be curable!"

"Don't be afraid.  I'm not going to hurt you ... I would never do anything to hurt you ..."

"We're going to be together in a world without end ..."

"I think it's a vampire.  And I'll tell you something else:  this is only the beginning."

"But that still leaves one very important question unanswered:  who is the one that did this to her?"

"Put ... that ... away!"

"Doctor, the curse of my existence is beyond the realm of your science ... Do you really believe anyone could actually enjoy an existence like mine?  I haven't seen the light of day nor felt the warmth of the sun for two hundred years!"

"All right, Doctor.  When shall we begin?"

  1. Killing off Daphne was a big mistake. It would have been interesting to see her trying to adapt to being a vampire.
