Dark Shadows 1991 Episode 8: O Brother, Where Art Thou?

February 15, 1991:  Josette has barely settled in before Angelique bewitches her and Jeremiah, sending them off to get married all willy-nilly in the middle of the night, which doesn't sit well with grumpy Barnabas, who challenges his brother to a duel; meanwhile, in the present, Phyllis Wicke escapes Collinwood, only to be brought back by Sheriff Patterson in his "fiendish metal contraption," and after her rescue, summarily faints, causing Julia to reveal that she is gravely ill with diphtheria; in 1790, Barnabas intends to avert Jeremiah's death in the duel by removing the ball from his pistol, but Angelique has other ideas; Abigail accuses Vicki of witchcraft.

"Your eyes ... I have never forgotten the dark fires of your eyes ..."

"I am your servant ...!"

"Sir:  your services are no longer required.  You may roll away in that fiendish metal contraption.  Madame, things are quite different in Connecticut."

"Get out ... both of you."

"I was told we resembled each other, but ... it is remarkable!"

"What am I to make of this ... what am I to make of you?"

"Fire fill their hearts ... burn .. burn!"

"It's all been lies.  Everything.  Every moment of it.  Lies!"

"There is nothing you can do ... we are married!"

"I swear to you on my life, no harm will come to Jeremiah."

"I will be with you, Barnabas ..."

"Show me your power ... SHOW ME ...!"

"You have killed him ... you have killed the only man I will ever love!"

"The one who has brought all this upon us ... THE WITCH!"

Dark Shadows 1991 Episode 7: A Sea of Familiar Faces

February 8, 1991:  Vicki begins her tenure in 1790, immediately raising Abigail Collins' suspicions that she is a witch, as well as Peter Bradford's interest; Barnabas uses then discards Angelique, who uses her powers of witchcraft to enslave Collins retainer Ben Loomis; Josette finally arrives and Vicki is surprised (all over again) that Josette looks just like her.

"She died."

"May I be of some assistance?"

"Barnabas, who is this young woman?"

"Rest, girl.  Then we'll see you end up where you belong."

"Oh dear god, what is this?"

"'The boy thinks you're his tutor ... his tutor you shall be."

"My irrepressible younger brother, Jeremiah."

"I am tired of waiting for an invitation ... so I decided to invite myself."

"I know nothing ..."

"This ... coachman ... deliberately searched out every pothole between here and Collinsport just to give me grief!"

"Begone, Satan!"

"Then hear me, and hear me well!  This will never be over ... NEVER."

"You work for me now, Ben."

"I like when a man treats me with respect."

"She's me!"
